Kiev Test - Hotels & Streets

Finally got around to trying out the Kiev camera I got from my grandpa a few years ago. I will admit, it took some getting used to the focusing but I really like the results from the camera. Most of these we’re taken over two weeks around Toronto and in a hotel.

Shot with Kodak 200 ISO Film. Kiev-4AM. Developed and scanned at West Camera.

One of my favourite shots from the roll. Feels very ‘Wes Anderson’ to me.

MY favourite hotel shot. Maybe I’ll make a series about cute hotel carpets?

The lighting was so nice this day.

I normally like light leaks but in this case I did not want it here!

My version of “street photography”, as close as I’m comfortable getting. See the storm coming in?

Dirty cloud ruined this one a bit.

Couldn’t get the focus on this one because I was rushing to try to catch this guy walking.

Who doesn’t like an old car!?
